Kids Camp'09

i am not camp-sick.

but i really,really miss twins alot ):

my lulu and keankean.

and wearing the tag.

tags are cool.

day one.

went earlier to church because of amazing race.

jierong made me and priscilla go to the front entrance of lake park because we were sabotage station masters.

then jordan and vivian's group came.

and vivian told us we were wrong.

but we aren't wrong because it was programmer who told us to go there.

._.

we have more brains than that i guess.

i-pod mania was woah.

because it's chinese.

idioms and the five-eight word thingy.

my group was second last for that day.

de-brief was like 1 hour that day and after that me, vivian and jierong went mph to practice for second day's praise and worship.

at 12 midnight, or somewhere around there.

second day.

ubarrrr tired.

didn't even sleep for barely 3 hours.

had lesson on honouring our parents. :D

after video, break up to groups to discuss, time for devotion.

me,priscilla and weilin was in charge of twins.

they are slightly harder to communicate with and they were not christians.

but they are very touchy with us hahahaaa. touching our faces and hugging us.

and kissing my cheek.

but they are supersuper adorable.

miss them, my lulu and keankean.

and had this special game with them.

the game is: opening the camp booklet, flipping to the last page with all the leader's photos and details.

then ask them to pick their first, second ,third and so on favourites .

i was second for keankean.

lulu i was third hahahaaa. (:

(WOW), it was pretty good.

at least it's not as tiring as amazing race for the kids.

but skip the captain's ball game to slack in logistics room.

after wow, was bath time i think.

but most of the leaders planned to bathed at night instead.

mugged on the script for our talent night.

but there was seriously too little time to prepare.

but nvm, all 5 groups did pretty well.

my group's skit was on Adam and Eve.

first group to perform so all of us were shocked.

but my group had quite young members but yet they were well-behaved.

so our skit was not too bad.

got third in the end with a member getting best supporting actress.

and she's only 6. (:

and the sanctuary got flooded.

was flooded pretty badly.

went to bath after talking to the girls in the dorm.

after bathing, de-brief had started for idk how long.

and it lasted till near 1.

was really, really tired by then.

but still writing and decorating the cards for my group members.

to encourage them.

some groups wrote the same message for each member.

my group was individual message for each one so we took some time.

went to sleep at near 2, and zonked out on my sleeping bag immediately.

day 3.

took some time to wake up.

had leader's briefing and went to brush teeth.

clean up the logistics room.

the girls dorm was pretty clean because the girls were like very organised in clearing up the room.

after lesson on self-control (emotions-wise) and video,

had devotion with twins again. (x2)

they were not so touchy that day.

but they were still adorableeeeee.

and we had some leaders coming to join our group.

because they are in love with twins too.

awards presentation, reaching break camp time.

the kids got pretty noisy because they were waiting for all the awards to be given out.

for leaders we got goya chocolate. and vivian was arguing with me on stage that she wants my dark almonds flavour one.

she said "who buy one?" (x100)

but my father likes dark chocolate so i didn't want to change with her.

hahaha, our tiff was quite childish.

so i told her "in the end, it was still given to me so it's mine"

but in the end still exchanged with her.

break camp, had last de-brief.

it was supposed to be 20mins but i think it dragged till 1 hour.

after prayer we packed up the messiest room, the logistics room.

then slacked at the table to finish all the unfinished food from camp.

so as to not waste money,

went home, slept immediately.

really needed to catch up on sleep.

and i miss two things from camp:

1) TWINS! ( MY LULU AND KEANKEAN )

2) Logistics room
