Dear Super Junior,

Thank you for being one of the greatest things in our lives. You are not a mere boy band, a simple crush, or an impersonate idol. You are 13 young men who, through true spirits and good hearts, have united thousands of people. You have entertained and inspired us through your hard work and talents. Yet most importantly, you have taught us valuable life lessons. We learned from you that dreams are vaster than state boarders. And that positive spirit is the key to all challenges. You showed us that we must work hard for what we love and protect and stand for whom we love. We learned from you that being a humble dork is much more charming than being a stuck-up jerk. You taught us that spontaneity is a gift not a defect and that you will always grow old, but not necessarily grow up. And that life is sweet but never easy. And that with all these virtues, we can all change the world.

We just wanted to let you know that you did change the world. You are more than music idols, or entertainers, you are heroes, for you have positively changed the lives of many. We want to always be guided by you. You do not need a catchy song to steal our hearts; your smiles have already done that. You have always touched our lives and hearts, and we wish day and night to be able to do the same for you. We wish that every year you would feel closer to us, and feel our unwavering admiration and love for you. Please always know that you succeeded in the past few years and that in every world corner you have an ELF to witness that. We will stand united for you and for the many years of success to come, not just in your career, but mostly in your life.

Yours always and forever,

E.L.Fs around the world

Nah I didn't type that ):
Stole it from here : http://sj-5th.blogspot.com/

Love that SM mentioned all 13 names in the newspaper advert.

Hmm I shall not write a cheesy letter.
I shall reminisce about how I came to know SJ.

I heard of SJ in P5, but I always thought they were just some plain old boy band with around 5-7 members.
So when I wiki-ed them in Sec 1 (I guess around April/May?)
And saw that they had 13, I went like woah.
And they were named the largest boy band ever. (THEN)
It took me a week of watching their videos to remember all their names.

I remembered someone posted this comment with all their names according to the timing their appeared.
One of the key videos of how I remembered all 13 names.
Yeah, I used to think that was hard.
But months into fangirling, I guess it's one of the basic criteria in order to fangirl with other people.

One of the shows that got me into SJ was Intimate Note.
I first saw a cut of it, and it was probably the first time I saw Heechul.
I felt random then, after I had finished watching some SS501 show.
So I went to type "Super Junior" in the search bar.
I never regretted that decision.
When I saw Heechul, I went like wow, who is that girl why is he so pretty.
(He was dressed up as Heesica)
Then I saw the comments with people going like Heechul~~~~
So I went to google him.
And I guess that's when I start spending months of stalking SJ.
But surprisingly, my first bias in SJ was not Heechul though, after seeing google images.
It was Teukie, but I forgot for what reason.
But still :)

Though out of the 5 years they had officially debuted as "Super Junior 05" and now "Super Junior", I had only been around for 1 and a half, but in this 1 and a half year, I am glad that I am a fan of them.

Well, I shall save a longer, much longer message when they hit their 10th anniversary.
I am sure by then, it will be all 13 onstage announcing to the world "우리는 슈퍼 주니어~"
